Who we share it with
- Mechanics you're matched with see your motorcycle, the type of work and your general area. Only the mechanic who accepts your job sees your name, contact details and full address.
- The public can see approved businesses in our Find a mechanic directory: business name, type, area (first part of the postcode), services, experience, insurance status, description, profile picture and reviews. Reviews show the reviewer's first name and initial only.
- Riders booked with a mechanic see that mechanic's business details and contact details, so they can arrange the job.
- Service providers who help us run Rev-on: Laravel Cloud (website hosting, in the UK), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (holding fee payments; we never see your full card details), Ideal Postcodes and postcodes.io (address and postcode lookups), the DVLA and DVSA (vehicle and MOT details), Anthropic (our AI parts assistant for mechanics, which receives job and motorcycle details but not your contact details) and, if you consent, Google Analytics.
- McAMS, our accident support partner: we don't pass them your details. If you follow a link to McAMS, we record that the link was used (and, if you're logged in, that it was you) so we can count referrals. Anything you then give McAMS is covered by their own privacy policy.
- Authorities where the law requires it.
We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open. Job and payment records are kept for six years after the job to meet tax and legal requirements, then deleted or anonymised. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
